From May 22 to 23, our faculty associates and colleagues had the opportunity to visit Esquel Group’s Integral in Guilin to gain inspiring insights into the company’s sustainability-driven operations.

Set in the scenic landscape of Guilin, China and covering over 500,000 square meters, Integral is Esquel’s Sustainable Development Garden that embodies the company’s philosophy in sustainability and eCulture – Ethics, Environment, Exploration, Excellence and Education.

On Day 1, we explored the Integral Garden, delved into Esquel’s transformation journey, and learned about innovative techniques in the textile and apparel industry — each session sparking thoughtful exchange and new perspectives.

On Day 2, we engaged in three expert-led discussions on Employee Dinning, Garment Manufacturing and Executive Strategy, reinforcing the power of immersive learning and cross-sector dialogue.

Heartfelt thanks to the Esquel team for the warm hospitality and inspiring work. We will carry these insights forward in our future research on innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth in global supply chains.
