You are cordially invited to attend the “International Forum on China’s Economy and Policy 2025 – Economic Transformations in a Multipolar World” to be held on 18 November 2025 (Tuesday) from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Conference Hall, 2/F, Central Government Offices, Tamar, Hong Kong.

The Forum is organised by the Chief Executive’s Policy Unit of The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the National Academy of Economic Strategy of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and The Chinese Institute of Hong Kong. The co-organisers include Lau Chor Tak Institute of Global Economics and Finance of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the HKUST Li & Fung Supply Chain Institute of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Hong Kong Institute of Economics and Business Strategy of The University of Hong Kong.

The Forum, under the theme of “Economic Transformations in a Multipolar World”, is convened against the backdrop of today’s complex global economic landscape. It will examine, among others, the challenges facing the global economy; as well as the economic development strategy as China formulates its 15th Five-Year Plan; and the sustainable development model for regional economic cooperation around the world. At the same time, the Forum will also highlight Hong Kong’s new role in navigating these changes, strengthening its international competitiveness, and contributing to the future of the global economy.
